Job summary

A family-owned care provider based in Ovingdean, East Sussex is seeking a Payroll Analyst to handle payroll processing for up to 700 employees. The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate pay, manage pension deductions, and oversee advances and HMRC submissions. Prior experience in payroll is essential, along with strong organizational and IT skills. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in Payroll.
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to work under pressure is essential.
  • Strong IT skills required, especially in MS Excel.
  • Sage Payroll experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for up to 700 employees.
  • Ensure correct and timely pay for each employee.
  • Accurate pension deductions.
  • Monitor and approve advances.
  • Process attachments of earnings and HMRC submissions.
  • Support other finance areas as needed.
