The Payments Assistant provides essential financial and administrative support within the team, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and efficiently. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously. Working Arrangements,

  • Process and verify payments accurately and in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Reconcile payment information and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.
  • Use multiple internal systems and Microsoft Office applications daily to process and track payments.
  • Respond to payment-related queries from internal departments and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support the wider team with administrative and financial tasks as required.
  • Contribute to maintaining a smooth and efficient payment service within the team. Strong numeracy and accuracy skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Confident IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to learn and work across multiple digital systems.
