Payroll Administrator - Temporary Ongoing Contract
Location: Birmingham City Centre (Fully Remote after Training)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Temporary - Ongoing

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join and support a busy payroll solutions provider based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a well-established team, with full training provided and the flexibility to work remotely once you've completed your induction period. You will receive 2‑4 weeks of on‑site training to get up to speed with internal systems and processes. After that, you'll transition to fully remote working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing end‑to‑end payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time
  • Inputting, checking, and reconciling payroll data
  • Managing starters, leavers, and changes to employee details
  • Ensuring compliance with current UK payroll legislation and company policies
  • Handling payroll queries and providing excellent customer support
  • Assisting with pension submissions and other payroll‑related reports
  • Liaising with HMRC when required
About You
  • Previous experience working as a Payroll Administrator (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience using Finity software would be a great advantage
  • Able to work independently once trained
