Job summary

E.ON is seeking a Payroll Administration Lead in Nottingham, delivering accurate monthly payroll using SAP and Workday. You will lead Payroll Administrators, manage workload and quality, and drive continuous payroll improvements in a hybrid, permanent role.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, resolving queries, reviewing tasks for compliance, and supporting Payroll Manager with KPI achievement and operations. Experience with SAP HR and Workday is advantageous.

  • Strong organisational skills in deadline-driven payroll environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to analyse large datasets; advanced Excel skills desirable; SAP HR and Workday experience advantageous.
  • High integrity with confidentiality.
  • Formal payroll qualification required; advanced payroll certifications preferrable.

We are looking for a Payroll Administration Lead to join our team based in Nottingham - Trinity House / hybrid working on a permanent basis.

Here's what you'll be doing

Salary - £32,422 - £44,455 along with excellent employee benefits
Location- Trinity House (Nottingham) (Hybrid working)

The Payroll Administration Lead ensures accurate and timely monthly payroll using SAP and Workday, providing day-to-day leadership to Payroll Administrators. They oversee workload, quality assurance, and complex query resolution, acting as a role model and first escalation point. The lead drives service excellence, develops team skills, and supports continuous payroll process improvements.
