What will the Payroll & Accounts Officer role involve?
Managing the end-to-end payroll processes for 125 employees across multiple group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation
Administering payroll-related data, including employee onboarding, leavers, and changes, while reconciling payroll accounts
Facilitating payroll compliance activities, such as PAYE, pensions, benefits, and P11Ds, with oversight of payments and BACS processing
Coordinating payroll operations for international subsidiaries through local payroll providers
Supporting transactional finance activities outside of the payroll cycle, aiming to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll & Accounts Officer vacancy:
Strong experience in payroll administration within a multi-entity environment, ideally within distribution or manufacturing sectors
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Proficient in payroll software (Brightpay preferred) and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP
A solid background in payroll with experience of accounts being desirable
Adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to process improvement initiatives
