VFX Financial is a fast-growing UK fintech seeking a Payments Analyst to join our Treasury team in London. You’ll support daily payment operations, fund accounts, and ensure timely payments across our global network.

No prior experience required; a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential. The role offers learning in high-compliance operations and opportunities to progress in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Positive, dependable, and proactive mindset.
• Comfortable asking questions and taking initiative.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Calm under pressure and deadline-driven.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Support daily payment operations to ensure accounts are funded and payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Monitor and manage the Payments Operations mailbox, distributing tasks and responding to queries.
• Process payments using banking portals such as Barclays.net, Barclays File Gateway, and RBS Bankline.
• Investigate and resolve queries related to inbound and outbound payments.
• Act as a first-line escalation point for payment-related issues.
• Reconcile payments with our blue-chip banking partners.
• Assist with the reconciliation of internal broker and treasury accounts.
• Liaise with banks to resolve payment issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Managing high volumes of time-sensitive payments with precision.
• Navigating multiple banking platforms and internal systems.
• Balancing routine tasks with ad hoc problem-solving.
• Working under pressure to meet daily cut-off times.
