Job summary

Howden is seeking a Payment Authoriser/Administrator based in Milton Keynes to provide a payment review service for the Operating Entity and the Group. You will also deliver generalist administration support to the Milton Keynes Finance team, meeting targets and delivering a high-quality service in line with policy.

You will work under supervision, handling payments, queries, and regulatory changes while maintaining accurate records and contributing to projects as required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade C or higher.
• Interest or experience in insurance operations is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process account payments in line with standard processes.
• Resolve account queries promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure daily filing and scanning are completed.
• Produce documents as required by the team.
• Maintain up-to-date records on company systems.
• Respond to urgent issues as they arise.
