A government regulatory agency in London is seeking a Pay & Reward Manager for its People Function. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a small team while overseeing payroll operations. We are currently looking for a Pay & Reward Manager to join our People Function within the Corporate group.
This is a full-time opportunity on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade Canary Wharf London E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas.
Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites.
We are currently implementing a flexible hybrid way of working with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role this can flex up to 12 days a month with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

The People function is part of the Corporate Group along with Finance Commercial and Infrastructure and Laboratory Services functions which are led by the Chief Finance Officer.
The Agency’s People function has a headcount of 35 staff and is led by the Chief People Officer who is a member of the Unitary Board.

This role will have day-to-day management of MHRAs People Operation team; supporting and developing a small team (3 FTE) working in a fast paced varied and demanding environment. Playing a key role in the delivery of our payroll and supporting day to day employee queries around their employment pay T&Cs.
