  • Understand A&E Clinical Quality Indicators and communicate and record reasons for breaches accurately.
  • Accurately record data and seek information when not provided.
  • Work independently and with minimal supervision.
Job description

To provide a specialised, comprehensive and confidential patient‑centered administration and pathway tracking service in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National standards, policies and procedures. To act as a source of advice and guidance regarding the speciality.

Secondment will be considered for internal candidates – If you are successful after interview, you must obtain approval from your current line manager to accept the offer.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the point of contact responsible for managing and assisting with the validation of patient Accident and Emergency clinical quality indicator transit time, ensuring a systematic, efficient and confidential service.
  • Understand A&E Clinical Quality Indicators, including criteria for 4‑hour and 12‑hour targets and breaches, and communicate and record reasons for breaches accurately and clearly.
  • Accurately record data and seek information when not directly provided.
  • Work independently and with minimal supervision to carry out duties of the post.
