A healthcare practice in Alnwick is seeking a friendly and proactive Patient Support Team Receptionist to join their team part-time (up to 28 hours per week). Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing appointments, processing requests, and ensuring a tidy reception area. Here at Alnwick Medical Group we have a team of approximately 80 members of staff working across our 4 sites, 12 of which are our Patient Support Reception Team.
Due to internal progression an exciting new job opportunity for a Patient Support Team Receptionist has become available. We are looking for a friendly, flexible and proactive person to come and join us part time (up to 28 hours per week).
The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of 7.45am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday.

The job role will involve welcoming patients and visitors to the practice, booking patient appointments, processing eConsult requests from patients, responding or redirecting patients to the most appropriate care provider if necessary, answering incoming telephone calls, ensuring calls are documented and redirected accordingly and to carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post.
