A leading healthcare organization in London is looking for a Patient safety partner to contribute to enhancing patient safety across hospitals. You will work collaboratively with staff, families, and patients to shape safer care and ensure diverse voices are represented. The role is flexible at approximately 10-12 hours per month, and involves advocating for patient considerations, contributing to safety governance, and helping develop resources. This unique opportunity allows you to influence how care is delivered.

This is an evolving role developed by NHS England to strengthen patient safety across healthcare in the UK. Patient safety partners can be patients, carers, family members, or members of the public - including NHS staff from other organisations. We welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, and communities, including those living with different conditions, to ensure a wide range of voices are heard.
As a Patient safety partner, you'll work alongside our staff, volunteers, patients, and families to help shape safer, kinder, and more person-centred care. Your voice matters and by sharing your experiences and perspectives, you'll play a vital role in making changes that truly enhance patient safety across our hospitals. This is a unique opportunity to influence how care is delivered, ensuring it reflects the needs, wants, and preferences of the people we serve.

Additional (optional) contributions include: £5 per day for IT kit/Wi-Fi/printing/power Public transport reimbursed at cost; taxis booked in advance and paid by the Trust. The role is approx. 10-12 hours per month.
