Candidates must have experience in incident management and currently be employed in an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact patient outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the patient safety and governance team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a patient safety incident investigator.
The implementation of the NHS Patient Safety Incident Response Framework has led to the introduction of patient safety incident investigators responsible for investigating incidents across all three sites – Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital and Andover War Memorial Hospital. Investigations are undertaken in line with the Trust patient safety incident response plan and use a systems‑based approach.
If you have a background in incident management or investigation and a passion for improving patient care, make a real difference to the people who use and deliver our services – please reach out for a discussion about the role.
