A healthcare organization in Shepton Mallet is looking for a Patient Pathway Coordinator to streamline patient journeys from referral to treatment. This role involves managing communications with patients and healthcare professionals and ensuring operational efficiency in outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. This position offers a salary of £25,104.35 per annum with a range of benefits.
We’re looking for an organised, patient-focused Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our friendly administration team at Practice Plus Group. In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals — making sure every patient’s journey runs smoothly from referral to treatment.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team that plays a key role in ensuring our Outpatient clinics and Theatre lists are managed efficiently and filled to capacity. Every day brings new challenges, and you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing your work directly contributes to improving patient access to high‑quality care.
Working 37.5 hours a week. You will work 8 hour shifts between Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm or 10.00am - 6pm, we work on a rota system so shifts will vary week on week.
Any weekend shifts will be deemed unsociable hours and there will have an increase in the hourly rate should you work them.
