Patient Pathway Co‑ordinator – CAT 11 Cardiology, Respiratory & Stroke
Band 4 – Permanent – Full‑time (37.5 hrs/week, 08:00‑16:00 Mon‑Fri with one 09:00‑17:00 day). Salary £27,485 – £30,162 per annum. Closing 20/11/2025 23:59.
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to provide specialist admin support to the CAT11 team supporting Cardiology, Respiratory and Stroke Medicine. You will be confident working within a fast‑paced, team environment and have excellent IT skills, ability to communicate with patients and colleagues, and work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to CAT11 and Cardiology, Respiratory & Stroke Departments, including telephone reception, appointment scheduling and processing clinic letters.
- Process general admin duties, ensuring compliance with local procedures, deadlines and best practice.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic and paper based systems; knowledge of the 18‑week pathway beneficial.
- Deliver a high‑quality, patient‑focused service with professionalism and courtesy.
Qualifications
- Administration/Customer Care experience or equivalent.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A‑C.
Skills & Experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Worked in a multidisciplinary team.
- Customer care experience and handling patient/customer queries.
- Desirable: digital dictation systems, patient data systems and healthcare setting experience.
- Scheduling outpatient appointments or admissions.
- Experience handling patient complaints (desirable).
