Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a supervisor to lead a ward kitchen catering team at Royal Liverpool Hospital. You will supervise a team of host/hostess, coordinate meal service to patients, monitor temperatures, and ensure a high standard of food and patient experience.

Responsibilities include rostering, allocating tasks to catering assistants, managing overtime within budget, and carrying out staff appraisals.

This is an exciting time to join our Catering Team for the NHS at Royal Liverpool Hospital Hospital. We have a post Supervising a team of host/hostess who work within our ward kitchens, ensuring that we provide an excellent food and patient experience., Supervise & support a team with the following

• Regeneration of chilled/frozen food and preparation of sauces.
• Plating and service of cold and hot food items with meal delivery to patients, including service of condiments.
• Probing and recording food temperatures. Recording of equipment temperatures.
• Beverage service to patients. Washing and refilling of patient's water jugs and beakers.
• To take the patient orders and communicate the requirements to the catering department.
• Ensuring rosters are covered. Allocation of work to catering assistants. Liaise with management to ensure there is a continuation of service in the event of major staff shortages. Priorities urgent requests. Authorise overtime within the allocated budget.
