Job summary

Summerhill Supplies Limited invites applications for a role within our Hotel Services/Ward team to maintain a comfortable, clean and safe environment for patients and staff. You will work across wards in partnership with hotel services staff, carers and the general public to deliver a positive service user experience reflecting our values.

Experience in NHS domestic and housekeeping services is preferred, with knowledge of infection prevention, COSHH and current BICS registration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ward cleanliness and tidiness to ensure a welcoming environment for patients
• Ensure correct delivery of patient meals and availability of repairs, maintenance, linen, and consumables
• Provide high standards of cleanliness following training and safe use of equipment
• Support infection prevention and control measures and COSHH compliance in NHS settings
