Qualifications

Hours: 40 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join the fantastic team at Avonvale vets in Heathcote!

We are looking for a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our fantastic team.

You will work in all areas of practice, and it will be necessary to accept instruction from a variety of people.

You will be responsible for preparing theatre for surgeries, cleaning and maintaining the quality of our instruments, assist with patient care and husbandry, running in-house lab tests, packaging biological samples and assisting with the smooth running of the practice.

Out of hours work is required at the Warwick hospital branch. The hours are during Saturday or Sundays 8:30–5:30 pm (1‑8) and also bank holidays (1–2 per year).

Travel to our other branches may be required so a driving license is essential.
