Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Register referrals for outpatient appointments.
  • Book, cancel, and re-schedule appointments as required.
  • Make and receive telephone calls for appointment management.
  • Train to understand medical terminology for accurate appointment booking.

Overview

To provide a booking service for all Outpatient referrals, to be able to organise appointments using initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure patients are seen within the Trust and Government targets.

Location

Office Based.

Responsibilities
  • Register Referrals
  • Book appointments and cancel and re-schedule appointments
  • Make outbound telephone calls and take in-bound telephone calls
  • Train to have an awareness of Medical terminology to enable appointment booking
