Job description

We are looking for a Pathway Team Lead who has advanced knowledge and experience in orthopaedic/musculoskeletal services to join our leadership team within Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Service (TIMS). TIMS is a collaboration between Gateshead Foundation Trust and Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that aims to empower the people of Newcastle and Gateshead to optimise their health and wellbeing through a seamless, high quality, person centred msk and pain service. The post will allow the successful candidate to develop their existing leadership skills in a forward thinking dynamic service which is integrated across primary and secondary care services in Gateshead and Newcastle. This is a fixed term, full time position to work alongside TIMS pathway team leads and support the service Operational Manager.

The successful applicant will take on a team lead role within the Upper Limb Pathway team to provide a comprehensive service for patients with musculoskeletal conditions in clinical settings across Gateshead and Newcastle. They will maintain a clinical caseload whilst providing day-to-day leadership for the upper limb team, acting as a source of expertise within the pathway and be expected to contribute to service evaluation and development.
