Job summary

The role involves housekeeping, stock control, sample processing, and some manual testing, working under supervision and with initiative.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent laboratory experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience of laboratory practices.
• Ability to communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping duties including stock control of reagents.
• Prepare and maintain equipment.
• Manage the processing of blood and urine samples.
• Perform some manual testing of samples.
• Work independently with supervision and organise/prioritise tasks.
• Participate in 24/7 shift system as required.
