We are working on a senior role responsible for overseeing the UK patent support team of a highly-regarded European IP firm.
- Manage and develop the team across an identified UK Region, promoting a culture that reflects the firms’ values. Ensure effective talent development for continued excellent retention of high performing colleagues with key skills and knowledge.
- Promote continuous professional development for both self and team members, supporting training initiatives and career progression.
Stakeholder Management
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders to proactively identify way to improve the client and fee earners experience.
Business Operations/Technology Alignment
- Work Standards – Manage the implementation of policies and standard operating processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the function. Oversees outcomes from audits to understand risks/priorities for intervention.
- Quality Assurance – Work with key colleagues to manage the provision of formalities and administrative support, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and adherence to the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Process Development – Implement and document patent support processes and procedures, leveraging technology and best practices to improve efficiency and service quality. Lead innovation and process improvement to enhance overall team productivity.
- Collaboration – Collaboration with key stakeholders, including Group Heads, Finance, IT, and business operations, to streamline workflows and enhance client service.
