A reputable electrical compliance company is seeking a Portable Appliance Tester to perform testing on large commercial sites in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The role offers a basic salary of £26k with realistic OTE of £38-40k, bonuses for additional sites, travel pay, and comprehensive benefits including a company share scheme and plenty of overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• C&G 2377 PAT tester course needed.
• Experience doing portable appliance testing.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites.
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day, with bonuses for a 3rd site.
• Covering Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire area.

Portable Appliance Testers (PAT)

My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, they cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Responsibilities

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
• Covering in and around the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire area

Salary and Benefits

• 26k basic salary - realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day-20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit
• Travel pay
• Company share ownership scheme after 12 months
• Bonuses if you go to 3 or more sites per day

Skills / experience needed to be a PAT Tester

• Living anywhere around the Nottinghamshire or Lincoln areas
• C&G 2377 PAT tester course needed
• Experience doing portable appliance testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Great customer services skills for when you are on site
• Be able to pass a DBS check
