The Gore Hotel in London is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to lead the pastry section with artistry and consistency. You will craft desserts, breads, and decorative displays, delivering top-quality pastry for our 190 Queen’s Gate restaurant and events.

You will work under a renowned Head Chef, contributing to seasonal menus, cost control, and high standards of food safety and kitchen organization. This role suits a pastry specialist aiming to advance in a 5-star hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a luxury setting.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, desserts, breads and chocolate work.
• Experience in menu planning, recipe development and seasonal pastry offerings.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the daily running of your pastry section.
• Prepare, bake, and finish a wide variety of desserts, pastries, cakes and decorative displays.
• Collaborate with Head/Sous Chefs to develop innovative pastry recipes and seasonal menus.
• Assist with cost-effective menu pricing and private events pastry design.
