A prestigious hospitality group in Scotland is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to lead the pastry team at their iconic hotel. This role involves motivating Commis Chefs, ensuring quality in pastry production, and collaborating closely with other kitchen staff to provide an exceptional dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a professional cookery qualification and relevant experience in a high-pressure environment, along with a passion for innovative pastry creation. As Pastry Chef de Partie, you’ll motivate the Commis Chefs to prepare food for our venues. You’ll have an eye for quality, consistency and for portion control. You’ll build good relationships with the front of house team to make sure our guests get exactly what they want.
A qualification in professional cookery would be great, and relevant industry experience is desirable. Using your Pastry expertise and skill, you’ll be a key part in making sure our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and tasty sweets.
You’ll also support our Head Chefs and Sous Chefs on ideas and techniques that make our Pastry kitchen a creative environment.
