Job summary

Thrive Co‑operative Learning Trust in Hull is seeking a Pastoral Assistant to support pupil welfare and deliver targeted interventions across Key Stages. You will work under the Deputy Headteacher and Safeguarding Manager to promote a positive learning climate.

The role is permanent, 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days, with a salary of £22,615–£24,111 and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting pastoral, personal or emotional needs of pupils.
• Experience delivering targeted intervention strategies in an educational context.
• Ability to collaborate with families and safeguarding teams to remove learning barriers.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support and guidance to students under supervision.
• Deliver intervention programmes to facilitate learning and welfare management.
• Support and implement safeguarding and child protection protocols across Key Stages.
