Job Title: Pastoral Support Worker
Location: Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall, BB4 6RX
Salary: £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start: December 2025

We\'re on the lookout for a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join our dynamic team and be a key player in creating a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering school environment.
You\'ll provide pastoral and emotional support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive both in and out of the classroom. Working closely with teachers, parents and external agencies, you\'ll model positive behaviour, encourage inclusion and wellbeing, and be a visible, supportive presence throughout the school day. From small-group sessions to enrichment activities and day-to-day mentoring, every moment you spend will help our pupils build confidence and resilience.
