Job summary

Ss John Fisher & Thomas More Catholic Primary School in the Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust seeks a permanent full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with behavioural needs and lead pastoral activities under teacher supervision.

The role involves running therapy and programmes for small groups, developing ILPs, and working with colleagues to sustain a supportive Catholic environment. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification and GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional educational needs.
• Ability to implement ILPs and contribute to therapy programmes.

Responsibilities

• Work with children who have behavioural needs.
• Lead pastoral support and deliver therapy and group programmes.
• Deliver learning activities under teacher supervision.
• Implement individual learning plans (ILPs).
