In the role of Pastoral Support Services Coordinator you'll be based across multiple sites and your focus will be on ensuring an excellent pastoral service across various teams.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the quality assurance of the interventions carried out by the Pastoral Mentors and Mentors for Apprentices
  • Line management of relevant posts within Safeguarding and Behaviour Department
  • Collaboration with all college teams to ensure the delivery of high impact support for 'at risk' students
Qualifications
  • Ideally, have a teaching qualification and formal qualification in the area of mental health and/or trauma informed practice (or be able to prove equivalent ability)
  • Demonstrable experience of working with young people in an educational setting
  • Ability to make effective use of tracking systems to identify themes and to work collaboratively with others to improve practice
  • Demonstrate College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role
