A local high school in Wombourne is seeking a Pastoral Support Officer to manage policies related to behavior, child protection, and pastoral issues. The ideal candidate will promote effective practices to safeguard pupils. This role involves daily regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS check. As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will be responsible for the management, development and implementation of policies and practices throughout the school ensuring that the school fulfils its responsibilities for supporting behaviour, child protection and other pastoral issues. The role will promote and facilitate effective practices across the school that combine to safeguard the pupils in our care.
Your role involves regulated activity with children on a daily basis, and this post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. We will require you to complete an on-line DBS if you are appointed.
