Job summary

The Friary School is seeking a committed Student Support Assistant to join its caring pastoral team. You will build positive relationships with pupils, provide guidance and support to promote positive behaviour, and help students overcome barriers to learning.

The role is permanent, term-time only, starting in November 2026, with 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. You will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK and suitable references.

Qualifications

• Ability to build positive relationships with young people and support their learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff, students and parents.
