Job summary

Wigston Academies Trust is seeking a Pastoral/Progress Leader to ensure students are safe, happy, attend school and achieve their full potential. You will use data to identify students needing support and collaborate with tutors, SLT and the Raising Attainment Team to drive progress.

You will inspire students, remove barriers to learning, provide emotional support, and contribute to school improvement within a Trust that runs Wigston Academy (11-16) and Wigston College (16-18).

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral support in a high school environment.
• Ability to use data to identify barriers to achievement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are safe, attend school, and enjoy learning.
• Use attainment and progress data to identify students who need additional support and coordinate interventions with tutors and senior leaders.
