A leading primary school in Stockport is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Manager to manage pastoral care and attendance issues. In this role, you will work closely with staff and families to support pupil attendance and welfare. The successful candidate should have experience in similar roles and possess excellent communication skills. The purpose of this role is to manage the pastoral care, welfare and attendance issues for the whole school. To liaise with staff, pupils, families and outside agencies in all issues relating to attendance and punctuality, supporting the school community to promote and achieve excellent attendance. The Pastoral Manager will work closely with staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies to encourage regular attendance, address barriers to learning caused by absence, and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.
