Job summary

Wybers Wood Academy is seeking a part-time Pastoral Leader and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to join from November 2026. You will provide pastoral support across the academy, helping pupils to be ready to learn and supporting their social and emotional development.

This role is part-time and permanent within Wybers Wood Academy, which is part of the Delta Academies Trust. We welcome applicants who can contribute to a caring, inclusive school environment and work closely with parents

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral support or safeguarding is desirable.
• Ability to build relationships with pupils and parents.
• Commitment to inclusion and wellbeing.

• Provide high-quality pastoral support across the academy.
• Support vulnerable pupils to be ready to learn.
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) for the academy.
