A prestigious school in Kent is seeking a Pastoral Care Assistant to support students during term time. This role requires a genuine passion for working with young people and the ability to cover flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to pastoral care. The position offers competitive hourly pay and a supportive working environment.

Salary: £12.77 to £15.98 per hour DoE + 16.5% holiday pay

Flexible hours contracted Pastoral Care Assistants are required to join the team as soon as possible. The availability to stand in at short notice is essential. Availability of hours will be discussed at interview. Hours covered are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time, and so the shifts required could cover daytime, evenings, nights and weekends, depending on availability.
The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work with young people and be pro‑active in their pastoral care. There will be a full induction provided upon start of employment.
