Passive Fire Door Site Supervisor - Social Housing Projects (North London / Enfield)

Rate: £220 per day

Contract: 3-Month Rolling (Weekly Pay - Every Friday)

Company Overview

We are working with a leading name in the Passive Fire industry that has experienced exceptional growth over the past year. With multiple live contracts across London, they are now seeking an experienced Passive Fire Door Site Supervisor to oversee ongoing social housing projects in and around North London (Enfield area).

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of fire door installation and maintenance works across multiple residential sites. You will ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards, coordinate site teams, monitor progress, and uphold high levels of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works.
  • Ensure all works meet FIRAS/BM TRADA and relevant fire safety standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and residents to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks on completed works.
  • Manage site documentation, RAMS, and daily reports.
  • Promote a safe working environment and adherence to company policies.
  • Support and mentor on-site operatives and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Proven background in passive fire protection, specifically fire doors (installation, inspections, or remedials).
  • Experience supervising teams within social housing or similar occupied building environments.
  • IPAF qualification essential.
  • NVQ in Carpentry or Fire Door Installation/Inspection desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport (sites are spread across North London).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Available for an immediate start.
