Job summary

York Day Nursery is seeking a warm Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Working 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri), you will lead joyful, EYFS-guided sessions and help children flourish in a safe, caring environment.

You will keep parents informed with observations and next steps, support mealtimes, and contribute to a culture of kindness and teamwork. A Level 3+ Early Years qualification, GCSEs, and experience with children aged 3 months to 5 years are required.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for nurturing children.
• A full, relevant Level 3+ early years qualification.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C / Level 5 or above.
• Experience with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first spirit.
