Position Overview

We have an opportunity for a Passenger Assistant/ Midday Support Worker based in Canvey/Basildon/Benfleet Essex to escort Young Adults with additional needs/challenging behaviours on our mini buses to our centres in Westcliff, Southend & Benfleet.

Responsibilities

• Escort young adults with additional needs/challenging behaviours to our centres.
• Secure young adults on the bus including clamping wheelchairs.
• Manage the behaviour of the young adults during the journeys.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Good English communication skills essential.
• Experience working with people with additional needs/challenging behaviours (ideal).
• Friendly and flexible disposition.
• IT skills desirable.

Employment Details

• Training will be provided.
• Part‑time position Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons.
• Employment subject to Enhanced DBS check and two references.
• Non‑UK residents cannot be sponsored.
