art-K Limited is seeking enthusiastic Self-Employed Party Leaders to run 3-hour birthday parties at our studios or external venues. You will coordinate with parents, set up spaces, lead art workshops for children aged 5–6 and up, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. DBS checks are covered through art-K, and training is provided.
The role is part-time and paid at £22 per hour, with opportunities to work across venues in London, Leeds, Brighton, Bristol and the South East.
art-K, a leading private art education service, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Self-Employed Party Leaders for its arty birthday parties during weekends. With a vibrant network of 8,000+ weekly students, art-K is expanding its offerings to provide unique and creative birthday experiences. Parties will take place at art-K Studios as well as external venues, giving you the opportunity to lead events in diverse environments.
As a Self-Employed Party Leader, you play a crucial role in ensuring the success of each 3-hour birthday party session. Your responsibilities include:
Engage with parents to coordinate and plan each event, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Take charge as Party Lead to set up the studio or external venue in advance, creating a visually appealing and energetic atmosphere.
Lead engaging and inspiring art workshops for party-goers, catering to various age groups and skill levels.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment, sparking creativity and experimentation among attendees.
Take charge of mixing paints and preparing materials, ensuring everything is ready for the participants to dive into their artistic projects.
Instruct children on completing their art projects, offering guidance, and encouraging them to explore their creativity while having fun.
Maintain high cleanliness standards by tidying up the studio after each class, leaving a welcoming space for the next session.

The remuneration for the Party Leader role is set at £22 per hour.
