A global leader in publishing is seeking a Marketing Director to cover maternity leave for up to 15 months. The role involves strategic leadership, product development, and budget management, focusing on customer engagement and driving revenue growth. Experience in Partworks marketing and a strong understanding of subscription models are essential. This role offers a hybrid working model, 3 days in the London office and 2 days remotely.
We have an amazing opportunity to join a global leader in the Partworks publishing and Direct Marketing industry, for an experienced Marketing Director to head up the marketing team and cover maternity leave for up to 15 months. This pivotal role reports to the Managing Director and will be a key member of the management team. This role offers hybrid working, with 3 days in the London office and 2 days from home. Our client is known for their innovative subscription models and globally distributed products, engaging customers through multi‑channel marketing campaigns and highly targeted customer acquisition strategies.
The Marketing Director will have overall responsibility for the company’s marketing strategy across all markets, focusing on pricing policy, campaign execution and driving customer engagement.
We are looking for a driven individual with substantial proven experience ideally in Partworks marketing and/or direct marketing, with a strong understanding of subscription‑based business models and customer lifecycle marketing. Ideally, you will have hands‑on experience with media buying across various channels, from TV campaigns to paid social, email and performance‑based advertising. Strong leadership capabilities with a proactive and results‑oriented approach are essential for this role, as is the ability to be comfortable managing budgets and utilising spreadsheets for strategic oversight.
This is an incredibly broad role that allows significant exposure to senior management, and a wide range of subjects.
