A family-run business is looking for a Parts Manager to join their team in Ipswich on a full-time, permanent basis. Parts Manager – Spider is advertising on behalf of our client who is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Parts Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis at their Ipswich, Suffolk branch. The role is office-based with regular interaction on the shop floor and across the business.
Our client is a family-run business and the award-winning truck franchise for East Anglia. They provide first-class, reliable service for DAF and All Makes HGV parts, supported by an extensive stock of over £3 million. Their “one-stop-shop” approach and commitment to sustainable customer relationships have enabled their parts business to continue growing, and they are looking for a passionate individual to help them continue that success.
As Parts Manager, you’ll support the General Parts Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Ipswich branch. You will manage stock, oversee purchasing and inventory, and drive sales growth across retail and workshop customer bases. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and consistently high levels of customer service. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with start times to be discussed at interview stage.
As a Parts Manager, you will bring experience in a senior parts role, preferably within the HGV or automotive industry. You will be self-motivated, proactive, and sales-focused, with meticulous attention to detail. You must be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, with a full clean driving licence. Experience with Keyloop/CDK systems is desirable. You should have a keen interest and knowledge of the motor industry and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
