A leading global mobility company is establishing a new vehicle operations depot in London to support the deployment and maintenance of a growing fleet of advanced vehicles. We’re seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead warehouse and logistics operations at this new location.

About the Role

As Parts Manager, you’ll oversee the daily management of vehicle parts and materials, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of inventory throughout the depot. You’ll work closely with technicians and operational teams to ensure all materials are received, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, operational experience, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee receiving, unpacking, and verification of incoming parts and materials using ERP and warehouse systems (e.g., SAP, Lightspeed, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.).
  • Manage inventory transactions using handheld RF devices and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Conduct and supervise stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
  • Coordinate packaging, labeling, and preparation of materials for internal use or outbound shipping.
  • Manage order picking for repairs, service needs, and scrap requests.
  • Ensure all shipments and deliveries include accurate documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, manual tags).
  • Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards throughout the parts department.
  • Support cross‑training and development within the warehouse team.
  • Fulfill internal requisitions and ensure parts are delivered efficiently to technicians and service areas.
  • Track and report on key operational metrics and inventory accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry, particularly in parts management, dealership operations, service centres, manufacturing, or similar settings.
  • Comfortable leading a team and working closely with technicians in a workshop or service environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory systems, and parts handling processes.
  • Skilled in Excel and reporting tools; familiarity with inventory and ERP systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with warehouse tools like pallet jacks (forklift certification not required).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a well‑organized workspace.
  • A proactive leader who’s willing to jump in where needed—whether organising parts, managing deliveries, or maintaining stockroom standards.
