Parts Manager - Agricultural & Ground Care Machinery

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Parts Manager to step into a key leadership role with a respected machinery dealer. This position offers real autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact on parts sales, operational efficiency, and team development.

You will lead the day-to-day running of the parts department, balancing commercial stock control with exceptional customer service, while managing and developing a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the daily workload of the parts department to maximise sales and efficiency
  • Maintain effective stock control, ensuring appropriate stock levels, quality, and commercial value
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a small parts team, including training and performance management
  • Ensure all parts processes are followed and the department is well organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to secure best pricing and maintain strong working relationships
  • Process parts warranty claims and returns within required time framesto maximise credit recovery
  • Monitor departmental performance against branch targets and contribute to overall business objectives
  • Produce and analyse internal reports to support decision-making and operational improvements
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, aiming to exceed customer expectations
