Job summary

BMW Group Farnborough is offering a placement year in Parts Logistics to support the UK distribution of BMW Group brands. You will work closely with the UK team and travel to the NDC in Northampton as part of the role, contributing to strategic projects and system migrations.

Ideal candidates are undergrad students in Business or STEM aiming for a 2:2 or above, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, a full UK driving licence, and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Studying for an undergraduate degree in Business or STEM.
• On track for a 2:2 or above.
• Interest in Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Support UK Parts & Logistics to ensure correct parts in the right place, at the right time.
• Travel to the BMW National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Northampton as required.
• Engage in high spend, long-term strategic projects and cross-team collaboration.
• Deputise for superiors to gain hands-on management experience.
• Contribute to the migration to a new operating system for logistics processes.
