Job summary

FMG RS in Cardiff is seeking a Parts Assistant to manage the day-to-day running of the parts department. You will receive parts into stock, book parts to workshop jobs, maintain stock levels and answer internal customer queries.

Ideal candidates have experience in an accident repair centre or bodyshop repairs, with a focus on accurate stock control and up-to-date pricing. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package and a strong bonus scheme.

• Knowledge of vehicle layout and parts catalogues.
• Ability to maintain stock levels and keep pricing up-to-date.
• Experience with stock control and internal customers.

Join one of the UK’s largest accident and collision repair groups, as a Parts Assistant at our site in CARDIFF

Salary:£13per hour, plus bonus and excellent company benefits

Hours:40 hours per week

As part of a team of specialists your responsibility as a Parts Assistant will be for the day to day running of the parts department. Daily duties will include receiving parts into stock, booking of parts to workshop jobs, maintaining stock levels and dealing with internal customers. Utilising your sound knowledge ofvehicle layout,vehicle partscatalogues and computer stock lists, you’ll also ensure our pricing structures are kept up-to-date, and thatstock control is always secure and well maintained. Ideally you will have experience within an accident repair centre or bodyshop repairs.
