Shift Pattern

Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday:

Early shift: 06:30 – 15:00

1 in every 2 Saturdays: 08:00 – 12:00


We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team based at our Bellshill Workshop. We are looking for a Parts Advisor who can proactively upsell parts, build and maintain strong customer relationships, whilst maximising stock availability through efficient parts stock management. This is a great opportunity to bring your existing skills and experience to a highly innovative global brand in the world of commercial vehicles, Renault Trucks.

This is us, your new colleagues:

We are a small team, with one Parts Manager, a Parts Advisor and a Parts apprentice. We are a friendly team, lending our support to new-comers, apprentices and existing colleagues alike.

The Day to Day:
  • Promote Renault Trucks parts and service
  • Competently answer telephone enquiries and take customer orders accurately
  • Ensure invoices and credits are accurately raised for good supplied or returned
  • Front counter sales including managing the customer order number process
  • Accurately compile parts from job cards for repairs being carried out in the workshop.
  • Proactive customer sales and feedback competitor information to Parts Supervisor
  • Facilitate developing local promotional offers
  • Pick up and deliver parts when occasionally needed
  • Ensuring product knowledge and skills are maintained to company requirements
  • Opportunity to attend training courses to support your ongoing development
Key Skills/Experience required
  • Excellent customer service skills, both over the telephone and face to face
  • Good attention to detail as you will be working with parts numbers when ordering parts for our customers
  • Good level of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly pick up new systems
  • Good team player with ability to work on own initiative
  • Well organised and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • First class problem-solving skills
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Experience of working with vehicle parts or sales experience would be advantageous
