Job summary

A leading automotive retailer in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £31,000 plus bonus. Responsibilities include assisting the Parts Manager, ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently, and providing excellent customer service. Location: Lookers PartsPlus Ipswich

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Up to £31,000 basic per annum, plus bonus

Working Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday-Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 and alternate Saturdays: 08:00-13:00)

Are you a Parts Advisor or Telesales Advisor in search of a new challenge? You have arrived at the right place, here at Ipswich PartsPlus we are on the hunt for an experienced and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our successful team. PartsPlus is owned by Ford Motor Company and are true experts in their field of automotive Parts for all vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity for to join our friendly and professional team and be integral to the smooth running of our Ipswich PartsPlus parts department. Working alongside a friendly and hard-working team of parts advisors, you will be able to build relationships and manage our customer’s expectations.

As a Parts Advisor, you will ensure that all customers at trade areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all orders are processed on the same day. You will be required to complete all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner and log any discrepancies of stock with the Parts Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Parts Manager with daily duties
  • Ensuring all items are correctly located and stock rotation is completed efficiently
  • Receiving orders & ensuring returns are up to date
  • Answering calls from customers
  • Providing excellent customer care
  • Demonstrating exceptional product knowledge in order to maximise sales
Qualifications

You will have previous experience gained in a similar role within the automotive industry. You will possess excellent communication skills, and practical knowledge of computer systems. It is important that you can work as part of a team as well as having the ability to work independently.

You will be a people person with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full UK Driving Licence.
