Job summary

Ayr Audi is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our friendly team in Ayr. You will handle customer requests, process orders the same day, and work closely with the Parts Manager to maintain stock accuracy.

You will build strong customer relationships, deliver excellent service, and contribute to a smooth-running parts department in a busy dealership environment. A 42-hour week with a clear rota is offered, plus a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Practical knowledge of computer systems and stock processes.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Parts Manager with daily duties.
• Complete vehicle health checks for workshop where required.
• Ensure items are correctly located and stock levels are accurate.
• Receive orders and process returns promptly.
• Answer customer calls and provide excellent service.

Salary: £28,500 dependent on brand experience, plus bonus!

Hours: 42 hours (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturdays 8am to 1pm on a rota basis)

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and professional team and be integral to the smooth running of our parts department. Working alongside a friendly and hard-working team of parts advisors, you will be able to build relationships and manage our customer’s expectations.

As a Parts Advisor, you will ensure that all customers at retail and workshop areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all orders are processed on the same day.You will be required to complete all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner and log any discrepancies of stock with the Parts Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Parts Manager with daily duties
• Completing Vehicle health checks for workshop
• Ensuring all items are correctly located and stock control
• Receiving orders & ensuring returns are up to date
• Answering call from customers
• Providing excellent customer care

You will have previous experience gained in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, and practical knowledge of computer systems. It is important that you can work as part of a team as well as having the ability to work independently.

You will be a people person with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
