Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for a Partnerships and Work-Based Learning Manager to lead the operational delivery of placements, partnerships and professional practice across the School of Education.

Reporting to the Academic Services Manager, you will work with academic colleagues, professional services and external partners to ensure placements are efficiently managed, compliant and responsive to evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience of operational management within higher education or similarly complex environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of placements, partnerships and professional practice across the School of Education.
• Develop and manage the partnership administration team and processes.
• Ensure placements are compliant, well-managed and responsive to changing requirements.
• Maintain strong external partnerships and stakeholder relationships to support work-based learning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and services supporting students, staff and partners.
