PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a Partnership Tax Senior Manager to oversee personal and partnership tax matters for the firm and its partners in the Reading area. The role blends technical tax work with compliance and advisory duties, supporting high‑level stakeholders.

You will lead partnership returns, advise on tax liabilities, manage capital allowances and tax provisions, liaise with HMRC, and contribute to international tax matters and governance.

Qualifications

• Professionally tax qualified with strong UK personal and/or partnership tax experience.
• Technically strong with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and advising partners.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time-management skills.
• Excel; knowledge of CCH Personal Tax or Alphatax would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing partnership tax returns, tax computations and allocation of taxable profits.
• Advising partners on their personal tax affairs, including tax liabilities and payments on account.
• Managing capital allowances, tax provisions and related tax reporting.
• Liaising with HMRC on partnership and personal tax matters.
• Advising on international tax issues, including withholding tax, Double Tax Treaties and Certificates of Residence.
• Supporting the firm's tax governance, compliance controls and wider Tax Strategy.
• Working closely with finance and other internal teams to ensure effective tax compliance and reporting.
