Job description

About HIVED

At HIVED, we’re steamrolling forward as one of Europe’s fastest growing startups, and our momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Based in London, we are a climate and logistics start-up building the first sustainable parcel delivery network at scale, powered by a 100% electric fleet. In an ever-growing industry where unreliable service has long been the norm, HIVED has been built from the ground-up to meet the demands of modern consumers and disrupt parcel delivery.

A tech company at heart, our talent and technology is laser-focused on delivering the best possible delivery experience for end-customers and meeting the needs of our retail partners. From our drivers to our data engineers, we are constantly working to improve this customer experience that makes us deliver better.

Already trusted by leading international brands such as John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo, H&M brands and more, we are solidifying our position as the leaders in Europe to tackle this growing market.

Our tight-knit team is made up of ex-Revolut, Bain, HelloFresh, ASOS, Apple and Google employees, and we are backed by some of Europe’s leading investors and VCs in climate-tech, logistics and mobility including Planet A Ventures, Maersk Growth, Pale Blue Dot VC, Eka Ventures, NordicNinja VC and the British government. We’re passionate about driving innovation and redefining the future of delivery.

Role Overview

This role sits within our Central Operations team and leads Account Management for HIVED's DSPs (Delivery Service Partners). You own the strategic relationship with our DSPs end-to-end: sourcing and onboarding new partners, growing and protecting the health of the programme, and facilitating off-boarding when a partnership ends.

You are the driver of change and continuous improvement across the DSP programme: evolving how we structure, measure, and manage partnerships so the network scales sustainably. Day-to-day performance review of DSPs sits with the Ops Run team; your role is to partner closely with them, using their performance data and insight to inform strategy, shape the programme, and support onboarding/off-boarding decisions, rather than to run daily/weekly reviews yourself.

This is a high-impact, high-trust, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, uses AI as a force multiplier, and brings strong organisation and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

DSP Sourcing & Strategic Relationship Management

  • Lead the search for and evaluation of new DSP partners, building a strong pipeline to support HIVED's growth.

  • Own the strategic relationship with DSPs across your book of business - building trust, driving measurable growth, and safeguarding partner health.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior DSP stakeholders, including navigating high-pressure conversations with credibility, clarity, and commercial rigour.

  • Hold senior stakeholder meetings with the respective GMs at least bi-monthly, to review partnership health, align on priorities, and unblock strategic issues.

Onboarding & Off-boarding

  • Facilitate the end-to-end onboarding of new DSP companies, ensuring a smooth and well-structured start to the partnership.

  • Facilitate the off-boarding of DSP companies when partnerships come to an end, managing the process professionally and minimising operational disruption.

Driving Programme & Internal Change

  • Continuously improve the DSP programme: identifying gaps, proposing changes, and driving internal alignment to get them adopted.

  • Act as the quarterback across internal and external stakeholders (Ops Run, Capacity, commercial, and Central Ops) to keep the programme moving forward.

  • Use data, structured analysis, and AI-enabled tools: including performance data owned by Ops Run to identify growth opportunities, improve programme management, accelerate decision-making, and optimise partner outcomes.

We’re Looking For Someone Who…
  • Sees the Whole System: You don't just see a depot; you see a series of inputs, outputs, and dependencies. You have a natural ability to map out complex frameworks and understand how one small change impacts the entire operational network.

  • Is Obsessed with Standardisation: You believe that "standardisation is the mother of scale." You are detail-obsessed, finding the tiny frictions that slow us down and ensuring every process is documented to a level that allows for perfect replication across cities.

  • Is a Disciplined Data Influencer: You use unbiased performance data to challenge the status quo. You can sit down with senior operators, present clear "Process Maturity" evidence, and influence them to adopt better, more efficient ways of working.

Our Values
  • We Are Kind - Kind to the planet, our team and our partners. We listen with purpose, leave our egos at the door and aren't afraid to make difficult decisions. We must never confuse kindness with being "nice" - it requires us to be fair, consistent, honest, thoughtful and compassionate.

  • We Are Tenacious - We fight every day to keep the customer promise, for every parcel entrusted to us. No matter how hard it gets or whatever stands in our way, we are relentless in our pursuit of excellence.

  • We Are Curious - We never settle, constantly challenge convention and are never afraid to ask why. We believe there is always more to learn, always a better way, and that we're always only just getting started. We never fight the urge to be inquisitive, to understand the world around us and to explore where others might not.

  • We Are Resourceful - Our planet's resources are scarce and our future depends on our ability to use them wisely. Waste is the enemy. We strive to do more with less, be more efficient and make the most of what we have.

How we reward our team
  • Dynamic hybrid working environment with a diverse and driven team

  • Huge opportunity for learning in a high growth environment, with progression opportunities based on success in the role

  • 25 days of holiday allowance plus public holidays

  • 1 Birthday Day Off + 2 Tenure-Based Additional Days Off

  • Team lunch provided once a week

  • Quarterly team socials and annual sports day (HIVED Olympics)

  • Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption policy as day 1 right
